If you are one of the 63 people who still has yet to answer the survey, please answer as soon as possible. If you don't answer, it is impossible for us to send you the rewards, and we will use your Kickstarter username on the credits, so please answer (:

Manufacture is already paid and we are about to send the files for production, so it must start in a few days. We will keep you updated on any relevant news, of course.

Hello,

Backerkit is set up now! We have sent a smoke test to make sure everything is in order, that means that only 5% of the backers (randomly selected) received the surveys. This is to make sure everything is in order so we can make changes to the platform if needed.

Don't worry we will send the rest of the surveys very soon.

Here are some important dates of your interest:

• May 31st: Lock down (when you can't make changes to your survey –except for your mailing address)
• June 15th: Charge credit cards (in case you decide to add other items or games)

We have included the Day-1 promo to those backers who pledged in the first day. In addition, backers who supported our Kickstarter campaign for Seat Wars too, received complimentary credit in case they wish to include any add-on to their pledge.

The add-ons you will find are:

• The rat miniature.
• 5th player expansion.
• Seat Wars. 
• Seat Wars mini expansion. 
• Digital recipe book. 
• Print and Play files (Cooks & Crooks or Seat Wars)
  
• Translated rules (Digital or printed)
• Tracking info (Rest of the World)

After you receive your BackerKit e-mail (check in your SPAM or promotions folder if you don't receive one in the next few days), please fill your survey as soon as you can. Credit cards won't be charged until June 15th. It is important that you fill your survey so you can let us know where we need to send your rewards as well as other important information like the name you want to appear on the game for your credit.

Wow! Just... wow!

703 hundred backers and $502,580 MXN! (Thanks to all new backers and all those who increased their pledge to reach the last Stretch Goal). We will include another 2 trash illustrations: Mouse & Spit are the 2nd and 3rd place when you voted.

 And the 1st place, which was unlocked by surpassing 100 interactions with the Social Goals, was...

 We will share with you the final renders of these new illustrations!

We also counted the votes on the rats... Caped Pete and Eyepatch Joe were very close... and the winner was:

 Caped Pete will come in every game as the Standee and in the oven-box cover. The Rat trash illustrations will be all the other Rats that didn't win.

But since Eyepatch Pete was a favorite too, we decided that the optional-buy for the miniatura would be him:

This card works exactly as the Grandma's Mystic Seasoning but it is a special card just for our backers. It is a thank you for all our friends who supported this project since the beginning, playtesting, making prototypes, giving ideas and most of all, supporting this Kickstarter.  What's next?

• Kickstarter will charge credit cards. If you have an error, please verify your card has funds or try with a different card. You have 7 days to fix payment, otherwise your pledge will be marked as dropped by Kickstarter.
• BackerKit surveys will go out in 2 weeks where you will let us know your mailing address and other important info. If you wish to add more copies of the game, the expansion or the miniature, you can let us know there too.
• We will work on the files to start manufacture later this month.

Andrés Novelo (designer) & Luis Muñoz (artist) are very excited to see the amazing response Cooks & Crooks had. So they already are working on some Stretch Goals we reached.

New Translation: French

Thank you for your support! Backers from France and Canada have joined and asked for this translation, so we will have the Digital French Translation of the rules Available after the campaign. We might ask you to help us proofread the file ;)

New Reward Tier: All in!

We are very close to the final Stretch Goal! In this new reward tier you will receive Cooks & Crooks with the 5th player expansion, Rat miniature and KS promos as well as our previous game Seat Wars with the Kickstarter mini expansion and KS promos. This might be the only way to get the KS promos from Seat Wars, we are about to start manufacture.

If 15 backers decide to modify their pledge from 1 copy of Cooks & Crooks to this new reward tier, we will reach the final Stretch Goal!

Last Stretch Goal for final 48 hrs!

You did it again!

During the first 48 hrs since the campaign went live, you managed to unlock the first batch of Stretch Goals!

Now, before we hit the 48-hrs left notice, you unlocked the second batch of Stretch Goals!

 And now, the Time Counter will have a redesign and have SPOT-UV on it to make it stand out. THANK YOU!!

Now, for the last 48-hrs, we will try to reach 1 final Stretch Goal...

 This was not a planned Stretch Goal but since backer Corey Hastings suggested it, we loved the idea. Now that we have unlocked all necessary Stretch Goals to make this product better, we definitely want to see that rat miniature a reality.

Speaking of which, the blue rat and the one with the eyepatch had the most votes, so Luis Muñoz worked on some variations. Vote for your favorite on the comments!

The winner will become the 1st player standee and miniature model! Tallying will end during our livestream.

Why will the miniature be an add-on?
Because it was not considered in the game's components when we quoted with our manufacture. The Stretch Goal will cover 3D modelling and master molds. You will be able to select the miniature unpainted or painted. We are still working on the quotes for each of them, depending on demand.

Tell me more about the miniature!
Heriberto Valle Martínez, a close friend from Märchen Atelier, will sculpt it. (He sculpted the miniatures for The Grimm Forest, and an expansion for Scythe). Draco Forge, the manufacturer for Eldritch Century will held production in México. The resin miniature can be delivered unpainted (solid grey) or painted in tabletop quality (for a slightly higher price).

Why didn't you made an artwork Stretch Goal for more trash illustrations?
We are already working on new illustrations with the Social Goals. Making more illustrations would would consume time for Luis Muñoz after the campaign finishes. We need to have all the files ready by the end of April in order to meet our deadlines and deliver on time. However, a 6th player expansion seems like a possibility now for late 2018/early 2019, many new illustrations for the components will be available there ;)

How can you help us unlock this final Stretch Goal?During BackerKit, you will be able to order a copy of Seat Wars too (our first game on Kickstarter). You can modify your pledge to order a copy.
